Who is "DM"?

"DM" stands for, yep, you guessed it, Dead Messenger.

Why don’t you just use your own name?

Well, for a few reasons; First - I don’t want to become a dead messenger…much. Second, I hope it’s the message that’s important, not the person writing it.  Third, a little bit of self-preservation.  I’m self-employed, in a small town, and I would prefer not to lose clients because they decide they don’t like what I have to say (assuming people are actually bored enough to read this site).

Why are you writing these columns?

In part, to dissipate my own frustrations, so this is as much for my own piece of mind as anything else. Also, because I think there’s an audience for it - somewhere.  Many of these columns reflect conversations I’ve had with people over much of my lifetime, about life and all that goes with it.  By and large, people have been responsive, despite the fact I am now totally friendless.

Will you post columns submitted by others, and add additional authors to your site?  Or is it all about you?
